A Very Curry Wedding

We ventured to Ogden, UT to attend Jenni & Erin’s wedding on August 16th.

Between finalizing plans and putting last minute touches on decorations, dresses, etc. we girls were able to spend the evening competing in a  bachelorette party scavenger hunt.

Andrea & I were partners and we kicked butt! Above is just a sampling of the night’s adventures. Yes, I am feeling that guys muscle. Yes Andrea is chest-bumping that lady. Yes, I did tell that lady I needed a picture with a ‘ginger’, and oh yes, that is definitely Andrea on a big wheel. There’s plenty more where these came from!

The big day- it was beautiful! The weather was sunny & hot and everyone looked amazing, especially Jenni-Mae!

The Jespersen ladies! The picture on the right is by far my favorite picture of the day. This is totally Andrea crashing a sister picture, well played Andrea, well played!

It was so nice to see Grandma J along with a lot of my cousins, the upside of family weddings is getting to catch up with everyone! At these events Rob can always be found in the background making everything run smoothly, here he’s catching the present-unwrapping on video- just chilling after the mayhem!

Roomie Reunion 2011

Every year my college roomies & I make an effort to get together, and thus far we’ve been pretty successful! As there are three of us in Colorado now, Linda & Tawnya came out here for a long weekend visit in July.

We started off with some much needed R&R, and some delicious Café Rio. Sometimes there’s nothing like just chilling with your best girlfriends! We crashed a couple of Pioneer Day ward picnics and ended up at the Arapahoe County Fair for a dog show, rodeo, fried food and carnival rides. It was surprisingly pretty good!

The only seats we could find were down in the dirt- Linda was not loving it (that picture cracks me up) Linda B also charmed an old man out of his rusty fold up chair…

Yes, that’s a Ferris wheel that we went on & yes we all screamed. That has got to be the scariest ride of all! Thanks Sam & Megan for the great aerial photo of the carnival!

 

We rendezvous'd at our house for a good old fashioned weenie roast and s’mores on Sunday afternoon. Despite getting a million mosquito bites we had a fantastic time! Yes, we are laughing really hard in this photo- very representative of the evening… and all our time together for the most part.

 

MegO, Tawn, & Linda starred in this dramatic re-enactment of a Safeway donut mishap that took place at my wedding.

 

We wrapped up the trip with a visit to the Botanic Gardens. It wasn’t complete without MeganO, who had to be on her way back to the Springs- but it was fun all the same. Crazy HOT though!

You can’t read it, but Kimi is actually next to a Kimi plant!

 

Thank you for the fun times, yet again!! I’m a lucky girl to have such great friends… Here’s to many, many more adventures!
