The Puppy Palace

I never realized how fast puppies can grow! Everywhere we take him- people comment, “Woah, look at those paws! He’s gonna be huge!”

We realized as we were stuffing poor Chase into his tiny little poodle-sized Crate that he really was just getting too darn big. A friend at work was nice enough to lend us a much larger crate to help Chase be more comfortable.

 

Rob crawled inside to help Chase get used to it, and I realized… hmm, this isn’t a bad place to keep dogs & husbands! That's when I got the dirty look…

Chase couldn’t leave a good thing alone- the next morning his nice comfy bed was dragged across the kitchen and torn apart…  gotta love him!

My sister Jamie is an excellent photographer so I had her bring her camera down to catch some candid shots of Chase as a puppy.

I think these turned out so cute! I’m a little bias, but I think we got ourselves one cute puppy!

Pack Meeting

At church I work with the Bear Cub Scouts. This past pack meeting we had one of the dads come in and give us a presentation on exotic insects and reptiles (he does this professionally). I think I was just as fascinated as the boys! He had Madagascan cockroaches, African centipedes, tarantulas, scorpions, lizards, snakes, etc. It was great!

 

This is Pina Colada. She’s an albino python and she weighed over 50 lbs. I thought she was quite beautiful.
