De-motivators

I found this website today http://despair.com/ and I couldn't help myself... I had to share. Partly because of my cynical mood today and partly because some of these are just so true! These are my favorites:

Now if you feel bad about yourself, feel free to visit www.motivationusa.com to regain your self-esteem and make yourself feel better with the nice (but probably less honest) version!

Hair cut!

I wasn't going to put this on here but after thinking about it I decided that:

a. our lives aren't very exciting, so the little things like hair cuts count for a lot
b. I've had the same long hairstyle for about... 10+ years, so maybe cutting my hair is a big thing?
c. Since I never see anyone besides work and church people maybe I can get some feedback? Cut it again? Grow it back out? Shave it off? :o)

Jespersen 4th

We were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with both sides of the family this summer. The weekend with the Jespersens was too short, but fun all the same. We did the fourth at grandma Noble's, lit a few fireworks & ate some good food. The rest of the weekend we just hung out & enjoyed Joe, Andrea, & Tali as much as we could before they headed off to Mexico.

The following pictures are from the weekend together... but I think they illustrate more than anything that our family is totally crazy. We posed for even more pictures than this... but I thought I'd spare you all. My family just loves to find new & totally ridiculous ways to pose I guess... it pretty much just makes me laugh.

Yes we did make grandma Noble get down on the grass and pose with us...
she is such a good sport...

This one is my favorite because we are all laughing so hard at how completely stupid we are... Harley (the dog) is about to bite someone and I think my grandma was feeling like we were all a little over the top... Ahh.. so funny!

Tali's Blessing

We were lucky enough to be able to make it to Tali's blessing, which Joe & Andrea Kindly held here in the states so we all didn't have to venture to Mexico.
Here's the whole family, plus Dave and Heidi Layne (Joe's best friend & his wife)

There were a few others in the circle that are not here, but these are the main guys...

Joe is one very cute dad.. I'm totally proud of him!

Thanks again to Joe & Andrea for letting us be there for Tali's blessing!
We wouldn't have missed it for the world!
